We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful burl walnut original finish gorgeous unusual rose colored shapely marble top Victorian table with burl trim all over it. There are carved rosettes, solid walnut ball carving, incise carving and spool fancy trims. It is in the original finish and the marble is beautiful. It dates from the 1870's to 1880's in wonderful original condition. It has four unusual cutout legs with fanciness to them, burl applied panel trims on two different spots on each side, carved rosettes, notch molding, fancy supports and it is all joined together with a solid black walnut fancy turn column post that ends in a reverse finial bottom. Little ball trim work is on the skirts and the trim works. We have tightened up the stand and polished it for photos. It is very unusual to find a table like this with a rose grained cookie corner top as these are usually just white. There is a very small piece of trim missing on the top of one of the legs and I never noticed it until the 4th time I looked at it!! The overall size is 32.5 inches long, 24 inches wide and 28.5 inches high. It could be taller if you desire castors.
