SOLD Walnut Carved Victorian Bookcase Wardrobe Armoire
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian age walnut bookcase/wardrobe/armoire that dates from the 1880s era in walnut. It comes with a wonderful 13” high solid walnut over carved removable crest that goes on the dome shape molded top. The face of the crown has a detail leaf and berry face plate. Down the columns are berries and nuts with big lion heads on top on each side and at the bottom are vases with more berries and leaves. The wardrobe has been refinished a while back in a medium walnut stain. It comes with multiple shelves on the inside. The size is 52 inches wide, 22 inches deep and 101 inches tall when the 13” crest is on top. You can remove the crest to make it available to fit in an 8’ ceiling. The inside is 15 inches deep for hanging purposes. It has the original glass intact. The key hole covers match the lion head faces on the posts. It does not come with a key. This wardrobe does disassemble for easy movement and delivery up and down stairs, even a spiral staircase. Shipping starts at $400 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
