This antique bookcase is constructed of solid black walnut, and features step back accent, double drawer storage, and double glass doors. This bookcase dates from the 1870s Victorian era, and is in untouched original condition. Look at the handles on the picture frame dove tail drawers; they look like a handlebar mustache! This antique bookcase has a Victorian round ogee bevel edge corner base, four glass panels on the step back bookcase section, and the bottom panel on the right-hand side door has been cracked but we will replace it prior to shipping. There is one shelf with the bookcase, but you can have more made. The finish is in good condition for the age. The overall size is 48 inches wide on the base cabinet, 17 inches deep on the base cabinet, 15 inches high on the base cabinet, 45 inches wide on the bookcase section, 12 inches deep on the bookcase section, 73 inches high on the bookcase section and 89 inches high overall. The depth of the shelf is 9 inches. It has a great look in nice condition. Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
