We are pleased to be offering today this Victorian style walnut dining room table that came off the cape of Massachusetts. When the people were talking to me about it, they gave me the impression it was a Victorian table and I had never seen this model before. The reason why is because it is most likely a Victorian replica from the 1940’s. It has a wide ogee bevel edge top, round corner skirt, big carved fruit where the table joins together in the center, four legged multi-turn cross stretcher base like a marble top table and it has style and class. The table is 54 inches long when closed and 38 inches deep and 29 inches high. It has a 25 inch opening, but there are no leaves. We can fabricate leaves if so desired so the table will open larger. We can provide a quote on fabricated leaves if you desire. The overall condition is nice with minor nicks on the edges of the table top and minor wear marks. The mechanism has to have a butterfly insert replaced, which is no big deal as we do it all the time. The base needs to be tightened up prior to shipping, so please remind us at the time of the sale for no extra charge.
