SOLD Vintage Pair of Mahogany Duncan Phyfe Twin Size Beds
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful pair of matching Duncan Phyfe sleigh beds or semi sleigh beds that date from the 1940s in as found condition. As the pictures indicate, there are some surface wear on the footboards. One headboard and footboard are lighter than the other as they sat near a window in the home. We will polish these beds prior to shipping, but if you want to have them color tinted so that they both match it would be an additional $200. It is a great looking pair of beds. The outside dimensions are 41 inches wide, 28 inches high on the footboard and 49 inches high on the headboard. The inside dimensions are76 inches by 39 inches. It will fit a modern day mattress and box spring. The beds have fluted posts on the headboards and footboards. It has beautiful spade foot type legs.
