SOLD Vintage Pair of French Banded Serpentine Night Stands
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful pair of matching mahogany with satin wood banded serpentine cabriole leg night stands from France with brass ormolu trim on the top and on the bottom of the cabriole legs. They are in original condition. They are match veneer straight grain tops, mahogany straight grain veneer on the serpentine drawers that retain the dainty brass hardware, a satinwood banding along the bottom edges and along the outside edges of the drawers, darker mahogany stain to complement the straight grain veneer and satinwood. All the casted ormolu trim is in place with four piece on top and four pieces on the base. The stands date from the 1930s to 1940s. The overall size is 27 inches wide, 22 inches wide on the small 45 degree angle front, 15 inches deep and 29.5 inches high.
