We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful natural cedar chest made by the Burrowes Cedar Chest Company back in the 1950s. We have brought it into the shop to sand it down and sprayed some semi gloss medium rub lacquer to bring out the wonderful amber of the natural cedar. It comes with the lock and key, but the lock has been disabled for safety's sake. It isn't a Lane Cedar Chest anyways, so there are no worries on trouble from the lock. The inside is all natural cedar and you can sand it down every so often to reveal the cedar aroma to help protect your goods. This type of cedar chest looks good in a log cabin, primitive style home or even in modern decor. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 16 inches high. It has a great look!
