We are pleased to be offering today a gorgeous quality piece from the 1930s made in grand rapids, Michigan by the Luce Company for Hadley’s which is a high quality furniture store. Even though this is from the 1930s, it is not made like your typical 1930’s furniture. This one here has hand decorated panels of floral designs on the back and front, diamond acid etched beveled diamond shaped mirror in the center, walnut veneers, walnut solid woods with dark green overtones on the multiple bevel edges, but what really tells is when you open the dove tail drawer and see that it is tiger sawn oak. Tiger sawn oak was expensive back in the day, so only the high end companies used it. It is in the original finish, which is walnut with dark green paint with a floral design. It even has a bottom shelf. The overall size is 54 inches wide, 36 inches high to the top of the cabinet and it is another 2 feet up to the top of the mirror. The bottom shelf is 10 inches high. It is a great looking piece with a really nice finish. The paint is worn on some spots and a couple of small pieces of molding are missing. The drawer has the original hardware and the tag on the inside where the people bought the item. We also at this time, listing the matching corner china cabinet online and done in the same high quality fashion. Please check to see if still available. Shipping starts at $299 for a driveway delivery in our normal delivery area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are within our normal area.
