SOLD Vintage Cherry Solid Chippendale Bedroom Set by Jamestown Sterling Corp.

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful high quality solid cherry five piece canopy full size bedroom set that dates from the late 1950s to early 1960s.  It is all dove tail constructed and has a French ogee bracket foot base.  This wonderful set consists of a multi-molded dresser mirror, a nine drawer oversized dresser,.a beautiful night stand with a drawer, a six drawer tall chest and the solid cherry full size canopy bed.  They are in the beautify stain that only cherry possesses of amber brown.  The whole set is just beautiful to look at. It has two label on the inside that says Sterling House Early American Furniture that is always made of solid maple or solid cherry and manufactured by the Jamestown Furniture Company out of Jamestown New York, which is where they used to make the Maddox governor Winthrop desk.  The other tag is Terryville Furniture Company who actually sold this set.  The only thing wrong with the set is a few nicks and dings on the tops of the flat surfaces, but nothing serious.  The Chippendale style hardware is still intact and complete on the raised panel dove tail drawer fronts.  The French ogee bracket feet add a lot of charm and character.  It is simply a really nice high quality set that is a great investment.  The overall size of the dresser mirror is 41 inches wide and 33 inches high.  The molding is actually three inches wide and is multi set.  The dresser base is 54 inches wide, 19.5 inches deep and has a wide ogee bevel edge along the top.  It is a gorgeous dresser with plenty of space.  The night stand is 20 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 25 inches high.  It is a beautiful night stand with a blind dove tail bevel edge drawer and the hardware is slightly different than the other pieces, so it must have been added on later.  The tall chest is 36 inches wide, 20 inches deep and 46 inches high.  This set offers ample storage for clothing.  The tall chest has a 9 inches deep drawer that is divided for organization purposes.  Last but not least is the full size canopy bed which is 54 inches wide by 76 inches long on the inside for mattress purposes.  The outside dimensions are 58 inches wide, 70 inches tall to the finial, 80 inches high to the center of the curved canopy.  The set is all solid cherry and it is in outstanding condition other than a few rub marks.  You are getting all five items for one money.  Shipping starts at $599 for our normal delivery area.  Please check with us prior to purchase to confirm that you are within our normal delivery area.
