This lovely Victorian marble top lamp table dates to the 1880s and is constructed of walnut with a white marble top featuring soft gray veining. The table has been refinished at some point in the last 30 years and tightened up beautifully—it’s sturdy, ready to use, and radiates 19th-century craftsmanship.

Features:
• Top: Solid white marble with soft gray veining, gently rounded corners, and a lightly beveled edge. The surface has some light pits and staining consistent with age, as well as minor wear along the edges—typical of antique marble and adds to its authentic character.
• Skirt: Carved wooden apron with incised dot motif, a softly scalloped edge, and stepped molding that wraps the full perimeter.
• Base: Four gracefully curved legs flaring outward for stability, joined by molded stretchers that intersect at the center and culminate in a small turned drop finial.
• Supports: Turned vertical supports rise from the stretcher to the base of the skirt, with finely carved stacked ring details that add structure and visual rhythm.
• Casters: Appears to retain its original wood casters, allowing for easy movement.
Condition:
The marble shows light staining and pitting consistent with age but is structurally solid. There’s a minor drip in the finish from a previous refinish job and a small amount of wear around the apron molding. Otherwise, this table is in very good condition, with tight joinery and strong visual appeal. Some expected minor scuffs and edge softening are present in the wood finish, as expected with a 140-year-old antique.
This table would make an exceptional Victorian accent piece beside a settee, in a hallway, or as a standalone statement.
