We are pleased to be offering today this very rare find of iron and oak pool room or billiard room chairs that date from the 1880s to 1900s era. I know these chairs well as I have restored them for a client about 35 years ago. At the time they came in they were typical metal chairs that had to be scuffed down, re-lacquered and black. We also had to replace the oak seats as they were delaminated. They are a great set of three with solid arms. These chairs are usually tough to find. These have not been touched in 35-40 years. I got a phone call and was offered to buy them, at which I couldn’t pass up the opportunity. The overall size is 22 inches wide across the arms, 14.5 inches round on the seat, 41 inches high to the back, 32 inches high to the arm, 24 inches high to the seat and 10.5 inches high to the footrest. Many pool games have been watched by these chairs according to the estate. The frames are all solid and tight. They show nicks and dings here and there. The footrests show some paint wear. You are getting all three chairs for one money. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
