We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful Victorian age turn of the century raised panel carved bed in the Eastlake style that dates from the 1890s. It came right out of an east coast estate and has a raised panel headboard with an Eastlake crest on top and the original rails. It has Eastlake carving and routed lines along with fleur-de-lis. The foot board is all multi-panel. It is in the original finish and it appears that someone put a clear coat over it and it shows a few scratches on the front that should rub out. We will polish before it gets sent out. The overall size is 42 inches wide on the outside of the bed, 33 inches high to the foot board and 67 inches high to the headboard. This bed does not have any castors. The inside dimensions are 39 inches wide by 74 inches long. It is a great bed that is tight and sturdy.
