We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian tiger sawn oak heavily carved raised panel full size bed that dates from the 1890s era. It is a beautiful bed that appears to have the old original finish. We had to re-stain the top on the footboard as it was worn a bit. It is a great bed that is all set to go into the home. It fits a modern day full size mattress 54 inches by 75 inches. The overall size of the bed is 75 inches high on the headboard, 35 inches high on the footboard and 57 inches wide. It is a beautiful bed with a deep raised panel enclosed in the headboard with a raised panel tiger sawn center panel, scroll carvings and leaf and flower carving across the top. The footboard has the same type of carving. It has a bevel edge footboard top that is unique. It is finished in a medium oak stain. Shipping starts at $345 if you are in our normal area and will increase in costs if not. This estimate is for the East coast. You are welcome to use your own shipper if desired.
