SOLD Victorian Oak Oversize Double Mirror Carved Hall Tree
We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful tiger sawn oak oversize shapely bevel glass detail carving all the way around that has the original oversize brass filigree hat hooks. It came right out of an east coast estate. It is all tiger sawn oak in the original dark stain finish. It would be stunning refinished and we can quote refinishing by email if so desired. The hall tree dates from the late 1880s to early 1890s. It has four detail spindles holding up both arms. It is larger than usual being 43 inches wide, 15 inches deep and 76 inches high. The cast brass filigree hooks are approximately 8 inches across and 8 inches high on each hook. The shapely bevel glass mirror that is in outstanding condition is 21 inches wide by 46 inches high. It has a lift top seat , which reveals the original finish to give you an idea of what it would look like refinished and offers plenty of storage space. It has carving all the way around. A hall tree of this stature is not around very often anymore. Shipping estimates starts at $395.00-$425.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
