This beautiful tiger sawn oak Victorian age carved hall tree dates from the 1890s. It came right out of a home on the east coast in original condition. This is a great looking antique hall tree with carvings across the top of the shapely top, below the bevel glass mirror, face of the seat and carvings down to the base. It is unique with rope braided posts that go down both sides. It has the original Victorian hooks that are all intact. The dome curved top and bottom mirror with a 1 inch bevel edge is original and in really nice condition. The seat lifts up to store your gloves and mittens. It has shapely arms and a dark oak original finish. There are minor nicks and dings from normal wear. It has been used, but not abused. The overall size is 30 inches wide, 15 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat and 78 inches high. The condition is really nice.
