We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful tiger sawn with straight grain oak heavily carved multi-spindle original finish morris chair that dates from the 1890s to 1900s in wonderful original as found condition. Someone put slip covers on it that are awful and will most likely be reupholstered by the new owner. The chair is in a dark oak stain finish. The chair comes with the original support rod, spindles are intact, claw feet are excellent and carved circle dart molding across the front with cut out arms on top. The finish has a bit of loss here and there. The overall size is approximately 33 inches across the arms, 33 inches deep, 18 inches high to the flattened cushion seat, 25 inches high to the arm, 41 inches high to the back when it is up right. The back has four different adjustments to lean back like a recliner. Shipping estimates starts at $195.00-$225.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
