We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful 54 inch tiger sawn oak fully refinished ball and claw carved pedestal split base banquet table dating from the early 1900’s in refinished condition. It is a beautiful table that comes with an octagon split pedestal post with carved ball and claw talon feet. It splits apart and has a center leg for support when the 6 leaves are installed. When the 6 leaves are installed the table opens to approximately 10 feet long. When the table is closed it is 54 inches round and 30 inches high. It comes with castors. It is finished in a medium dark oak stain. The only thing I can see wrong is on the tiger sawn oak top where there was a lamination seam at one time. We didn’t want to pull it out as it may do more harm than good. The table has a tiger sawn skirt with a beaded edge and the claw feet are really nice. The refinishing coats is extra good with multiple coats of satin sheen hand rubbed lacquer Shipping starts at $385 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
