We are pleased to be offering today this tiger sawn oak stylish lawyers bankers rolled arm curved back arm chair in original condition. It is a great chair with the original makers label intact underneath. It was sold by the J.S. Ford Johnson Company out of Chicago, Illinois back in the 1890s. What is very unusual about this is that it has a bentwood cross stretcher base, flared legs in the front and back, large turn spindle stretcher, deep curve back with a cut out splat and a plywood seat that is easy to reupholster. The overall size is 23 inches wide, 21 inches deep, 34 inches high to the back, 28 inches high to the arm and 19 inches high to the seat. It is a fantastic chair in the dark oak old finish.
