We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful original finish wood and metal embossed dome top trunk in wonderful unbelievable original condition. It even has the inside tray! I believe it is missing the cover on the hat box on the tray, but I am not 100% sure if it had one originally or not. It has the original liner on the top. Most people re-wallpapered them over the years due to damage. The label inside says a Lowell Trunk Manufacturer P. F. Divine Proprietor. I believe it dates from the 1880's-1890's. When you pull the tray out, it has 17 inches of height and 28 inches long and 16 inches deep inside. It also has storage on the dome top. When it is closed up, the overall size is 30.5 inches wide, approximately 19.5 inches deep and 26 inches high to the top of the dome. It has all the original metalwork, locks,latches and even the original leather handles. It has the double lock on it, but the key is missing. It is a two way key, similar to a roll top key, so it should be easy to find. Shipping starts at $145 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
