We are pleased to be offering today this Victorian cast iron safe that is pretty much all original.  It was made by the Morris-Ireland Safe Company from Boston, Massachusetts. It was made for a man by the name of M.S. Fiendel.  These are great sells now a days with the crazy names as everyone wants a good safe.  This one has the combination and the interior is all intact.  I do not see the key to the cast iron small door that hides the safety box on the interior, but a locksmith can do it.  Who knows what’s behind the door?  The previous owners taped the combo to the door, the top and the interior.  We will leave it on for the photos, but won’t show the combo.  The safe is in the original condition.  It has acorns finials which are usually missing on hinges of the doors.  The nickel covering on the acorn finials.  Most of these get sand blasted, re-painted and pin stripe and they are beautiful!!  The overall size is 17.75 inches wide, 18.5 inches deep and 27 inches high.  It is a too large for one guy to take out of a house and two guys would struggle.  It would make a great end table.  When you open the door, it exposes the oak drawer, slots on the side and metal door interior Shipping estimates starts at $385.00-$425.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. We can assist you in setting up shipping if needed, you would pay the shipping company direct.  Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
