We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish and condition burl walnut triple door step back bookcase dating from the 1870s. It came right out of a home on the east coast. It has the beautiful amber walnut color with burl walnut panels and incise carving throughout. It has teacup saucer knobs on the base. It has triple drawers. It has all the trim pieces intact. The only thing I can see wrong with it is that it is missing five out of the six key hole covers. I believe we have some reproduction ones in stock that we can put on. It doesn’t come with the key, but it has the original finish showing minor nicks and dings. The two small drawers have triple adjustable shelves. The center door has five adjustable shelves. There is also one of the little knobs that has chips on one of the sides and a knob face missing on one knob on the drawers. The overall size is 64 inches wide, 14 inches deep on the sides, 17 inches deep in the center, 54 inches high on the side section and 60.5 inches high in the center. It has panel sides.
