We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful original finish burl walnut extra fancy civil war era white marble top drop center ladies dresser that dates from the 1870s era. What a beautiful chest. It is all original finish, tear drop pulls and burl walnut panels on each drawers, across the shapely mirror, above and below the candle shelves. It has a wonderful hand carved crest on top that is accented with burl panels on both sides of the mirror. The overall size is 51 inches wide, 36 inches high to the top marble, 24 inches high to the lower marble and 91 inches high overall. It is 20 inches deep. There is a small block of wood missing on the left hand side that you can see in the photos, but we have already replaced it and colored it in so that you can not tell. There was a slight damage on part of the molding on the side that we will also fix prior to shipping. The white and gray grained bevel edge marble is in good condition. The top marbles have 45 degree angel corners for added style. The chest has dove tail construction back from the Civil War Era.
