We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful and unusual record
cabinet that held 78 records or could have been for a music box like Regina
or such as the insides hold a 15.5 inch disc if desired. It has six storage
compartments for tons of records or metal discs. It is finished in the old mahogany stain,
which is all original. It is an old alligator finish, like a piano finish like they did back in the 1920's, which looks almost like leather and might have been done on purpose. A wonderful original finish. It has the original mahogany stain and
the original backsplash. The overall size is 18 inches wide, 18.5 inches
deep, 38 inches high to the top of the cabinet and 39.5 inches tall to the
top of the backsplash. It has the original hardware and cabriole spade foot
legs. I have never seen one like this, but it dates from the 1890s to
1900s. We can ship this cabinet for $165 if you are within our normal area.
