We are pleased to be offering today a six drawer with the carvings on the fronts and sides and the beaded edge across the flip down drawer in the middle and on the edge of the case Singer sewing machine that dates from the 1900s era. I have bought and sold probably 3000 of these sewing machine in my 40 years in the business. They usually go out to California as they were ahead of the times and used these for end table and decorative pieces. This is the first one I have ever refinished and I fully regret it, now that we refinished this one and can see how gorgeous the tiger sawn wood really is, that we never refinished them before!!!!!. The black on the frame is all original. It has one of the wheels missing and we replaced it with another one from another sewing machine. The only thing I can see is that the leather belt is missing. If you want to use this as a sewing machine, you very well can as all you will need is the belt. The drawers held many accessories and we include those with it. The stenciling on the head I outstanding as you can see in the pictures. The cabinet itself has been all stripped, sanded, stained a beautiful medium to dark stain finish and multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer have been applied. It 37 inches wide, 18 inches deep and 31 inches to the top of the cabinet base. When you open up the cabinet, the left hand side of the cover is for working on your goods and the entire length ends up being 51 inches wide. When you flip up the cover and lift up the back stencil sewing head, it has the bobbin cover which is always gone and the paint is outstanding. It has the patent date going all the way up to 1910. It is a beautiful machine that is all set to go into the home and is perfectly usable. The cost to ship this cabinet is $245 due to weight and crating if you are within our normal shipping zone.
