SOLD Sheraton Mahogany Lift Top Sewing Stand

We are pleased to be offering today a fully refinished triple drawer fluted Sheraton leg double lift top side cabinet known as a Martha Washington sewing stand that dates from the 1930s. This came in all nicked and dinged so we stripped it, sanded it down, stained it in mahogany and applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer. The cool thing about these stands is that they offer three drawers for your needles and other supplies. The top drawer has a sliding tray removable insert that is a little rough. The lift top covers on each end have seven sides and were used to store yarn and needles. The overall size is 27 inches across, 14 inches deep, 15 inches wide on the top, 29 inches high overall. When the lift top is flipped up it reveals a storage cavity of 9.5 inches wide, 6.25 inches deep and 16 inches high. The three drawers have the original wooden knobs and are approximately 11 inches across. The drawers vary from 7 inches high to 3.25 inches high. It is a great cabinet.
