We are pleased to be offering today is this most unusual find in the antique world, which is a set of oak dining chairs that are stylish in the Queen Anne Chippendale style dating from the 1910 era. They are a really classy chair. They have the cross spindle stretchers that are not the simple square sticks, but dainty turn oak spindles that add so much style to this set of chairs. The chairs have been refinished a long time ago and they have come to a wonderful patina in a dark warm oak stain. The chairs are a bit loose , but if you remind us at the time of the sale we will tighten them up prior to shipping. Someone has reupholstered these chairs in a dark blue with a light red stripe fabric that looks nice against the dark oak stain. The overall condition is really wonderful. One chair has a crack on the crest rail, but there is no structural damage and we will touch up the crack prior to shipping. The overall size of the chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 40 inches high to the back and 19.5 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six chairs for one money. Shipping starts at $245 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England. Please contact us prior to purchase with your zip code to confirm what it would cost you if outside of New England for shipping.
