We are pleased to be offering today this set of unusual 6 carved north wind or man in the mountain or green mountain or simply carved face chairs. There are some happy faces and some sad faces. These are all hand carved as the mouth is different on most of them. They are in the dark oak finish that I love. They have an old leather seat with brass tacks. I am not sure if they waxed the leather at one time, but it has an awesome look that I would not touch. The grain is a really strong tiger sawn oak. The finish is stunning. They are a great set of six dining room chairs. The arm chair is 21 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back, 26 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat. The five side chairs are 18 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 39.5 inches high to the back and 18 inches high to the seat. They have solid H cross stretcher, spade cabriole front legs and spade back legs.
