SOLD Set of Seven Tiger Sawn Oak Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this gorgeous matching set of seven formal oak dining chairs that have been completely and refinished in a beautiful honey golden color in the last 10 years or so.  At the same time all the press cane seats have been replaced.  They are pretty much 100% perfect.  I believe the chairs have been paste filled, which is quite time consuming, but makes a large difference in the finish of the chair.  The chair’s glow of the finish is so nice and it has some age on it.  The cane seats were expertly done.  One has a slight sag to it, but if you put hot water on it then it should tighten right up.  It doesn’t appear like anything is broken on any of them, but my eyes are bad so let’s say that there are a couple of small holes to be safe.  Overall they look like they are in excellent shape.  One of the chairs has a slight discoloration on the top corner of the seat that appears to be a stain, but it has nothing to do with the structure or tightness.  Overall the chairs are in really nice shape.  They have a curved design T back, flared back leg, spade foot cabriole front leg and a solid H oak cross stretcher. The six side chairs are all the same size and the arm chair is a bit bigger.  The arm chair has a really nice solid oak arm and carved out shapely supports for the arm.  The overall size of the side chairs is 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 37.5 inches tall and 18 inches high to the seat.  The arm chair or master chair is 21 inches across the seat, 19 inches deep, 38.5 inches tall to the back, 27 inches high to the arm and 18 inches high to the seat.   They are a gorgeous set of chairs with beautiful tiger sawn grain throughout.  It will cost $265 to have these chairs shipped within our normal shipping area.  Please contact us at 207.314.9621 to obtain a shipping quote for your specific locale.
