SOLD Set of 8 Chippendale Ball and Claw Dining Chairs

We are pleased to be offering today this  wonderful set of 8 matching solid mahogany carved Chippendale ball and claw cabriole leg dining chairs dating from the 1940s.  They are constructed of solid mahogany.  They are a great set of chairs that are high quality.  The set consists of twin arm chairs and six side chairs.  We have a matching table on another listing if you are looking for a set.  The chairs are in nice original finish.  The upholstery has some flaws with little water stains, but is usable.  The chairs are easy to reupholster by removing the screws and stapling on new fabric and replacing the seats. The chairs have cabriole carved legs with a detail ball and claw foot, solid mahogany H cross stretcher, one piece flared back, solid mahogany cutout center splat and a wonderful city Chippendale carved crest rail.  The arm chairs have knuckles on the end and scooped out arm rests for comfort.  The overall size of the side chairs are 20 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 38 inches high to the crest and 19 inches high to the seat.  The arm chairs are 22 inches across the seat, 24 inches across the arms, 19 inches deep, 39.5 inches high to the crest, 27 inches high to the arms and 18 inches high to the seat.  The chairs are all good in the original finish.  You are getting all eight for one money.  Shipping estimates starts at $285.00-$325.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
