We are pleased to be offering today this beautiful set of six tiger sawn oak formal style dining chairs with a cabriole front leg with a carved claw foot, wonderful shapely extra wide curved back with a big center splat, flared back leg and is all constructed of solid tiger sawn oak. The chairs date from the 1910s. We have taken them and restored them by stripping, re-gluing, staining and applying multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer for years of carefree use. We did not replace the fabric on the seats. The fabric appears to be a brown leather or maybe a high quality vinyl. There are no rips or tears, but a couple of scuff marks. There are some tiny white paint spots where paint was splatter when painting in the home they came from. We will reupholster the seats for the buyer if they so desire if they send us the fabric of their choice. Please email for details on reupholstering. The chairs are refinished by a professional restoration shop. The overall size is 17 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 18.5 inches high to the seat.
