We are pleased to be offering today this really nice set of six turn of the century extra fancy spindle double press back oak dining room chairs that dates form the 1900s to 1910. They are a beautiful set of six that came out of an estate in New York. They were refinished by the previous owner a few years back and the finish has held up well. At the same time, they put what appears to be new cane in the seats. The cane is good on all six chairs. The chairs has loosened up over the years and we will re-glue them for a buyer if they so desire for no extra charge. The chairs are finished in a dark oak stain. The chairs have an extra wide top back that is approximatively 10 inches high. Below the spindles is a press back design that is 7 inches high. There are eight dainty turn spindles in between the two press back sections. The chairs have a one piece back leg, fluted in the center, multi-turn front legs, multi-turn triple cross stretchers and even a carved crest on the front of the chairs. The overall size is 18.5 inches wide, 16 inches deep, 40.5 inches high to the top of the back and 17.25 inches high to the seat. You are getting all six for one money. Shipping starts at $265 for a driveway delivery in our normal area. Please contact us prior to purchase to confirm that you are in our normal area.
