SOLD Set of 5 Mahogany Shield Back Dining Room Chairs – Hepplewhite
We are pleased to be offering today this set of five light brown mahogany Hepplewhite shield back dining chairs that date from the 1940s to 1950s. The set came right out of a home in Brewer, Maine. The set consists of four side chairs and one master chair. They show nicks and dings here and there, but nothing major. The fabric is a period style stripe fabric that looks nice against the brown mahogany stain. The backs are five finger shield backs with the shield design, flared back leg, groove carved front Hepplewhite leg and the front skirts are serpentine. The arm chair is 23 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 41 inches high to the back, 19 inches high to the seat and 28 inches high to the arm. The side chairs are 19 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 40 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. It is a great looking set of five chairs. You are getting all five chairs for one money. Shipping starts at $225 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
