We are pleased to be offering today this hard to find set of 12 matching mahogany stain dining chairs dating from the 1920’s in original condition. What a great find! They came right out of a home in southern Maine. They have a few cosmetic issues, like some tiny paint spots where they weren’t covered up when a room was being painted. We will check the chairs over for tightness prior to shipping. One of the chairs has a back that was pushed to hard and cracked, which we will detail out prior to shipping. The chairs are most likely birch underneath the reddish brown mahogany stain, which is what most of the chairs from this era are. They have a black covered insert seat that can easily be reupholstered by putting a new fabric on top and stapling underneath. The seats themselves appear to be vinyl that are in pretty good condition. The overall size is 18.5 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 37.5 inches high to the back and 18.5 inches high to the seat. This is a rare set of 12 that are all matching. They have flared back legs, solid tapered front legs joined together with a stout and sturdy cross stretcher. You are getting all 12 for one money.
