We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of solid mahogany Chippendale style dining room chairs that dates from the 1880s to 1890s and consist of two large arm chairs and eight side chairs. It is a great set. The size of the side chairs are 22 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat and 39 inches high to the top of the carved crest. The size of the arm chairs are 25 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 29 inches high to the arm, 20 inches high to the seat and 40 inches high to the crest. There are some stains on some of the seats, but most likely the buyer will reupholster the seat. The side chairs are a light beige fabric and the arm chairs are a green leather that is in pretty good shape. The chairs are all solid mahogany and have a hefty feel. They are well made, stylish and sturdy. They have delicate flared backs with multi-finger center splats that are all good and cross stretchers for added style and sturdiness.
