We are pleased to be offering a very unusual and rare swivel tilt office chair that dates from the 1900s era. I can honestly tell you that in the 40 years in the business, I have never owned a swivel tilt office chair such as this example of solid oak craftsmanship made by the P. Derby & Co. Inc . I have had many Windsor chairs in oak, I have had many sets of arm chairs in oak, but I have never had a factory finish tilt swivel up office chair that wasn’t altered by someone. This is a truly original swivel tilt office chair that I am pleased to be offering. It has been completely stripped, sanded, stained, refinished and had multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer applied. It is finished in a dark oak stain finish. It is all set to go into the home for bragging rights. It is 21 inches across the arms, 18 inches deep, 34.5 inches high as it shows in the photos, 16 inches high to the seat. The chair does go up and down either way to give you a different height perspective.
