We are pleased to be offering today this solid oak original condition tilting swivel up and down bankers/lawyers office chair that dates from the 1930s. The only thing that has been done to this chair is that the castors have been replaced. I would have antiqued the brass metal on the castors, but that is personal preference. The chair tilts back and is controlled by a screw handle that compresses the spring. It also goes up and down 3 inches depending on height. It is a good sturdy chair with a saddle seat. This chair has no arms which is very convenient when using a corner desk or in a smaller office. The overall size is 17 inches across the seat, 17 inches deep, 35 inches high as seen in the photos and 19 inches high to the seat. The four legged center column base offers plenty of style and sturdiness for the largest of workers. Shipping starts at $85 if you are in our normal area and will increase in costs if not.
