SOLD Period Empire Claw Foot Banquet Table – 12 Feet

We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful empire period unusual flame mahogany pie shape 60 inch banquet dining table that dates from the 1880s era. It is a beautiful table that came off the east coast. The table is 60 inches round when closed up and displays the pie shape flame mahogany top. When the table opens up it will be 12 feet long even though it has no leaves currently. We can fabricate leaves for the buyer if they so desire for an additional price. When the table opens up the heavy base stays in the center and drop down legs come down to support the table. The table has eight cylinder pillars that hold up the table top that goes onto a platform base that goes down into a nice hairy toe nail claw foot base that has rope molding around the platform base. The table is in pretty good original condition. It would be outstanding fully refinished and all leaves made for it!! Our professional full restoration shop has been doing great work for almost 50 years now. There are some veneer chips off the edge band on the side of the table that can be corrected easily. The table is 60 inches closed and 29 inches high. The table will open up to 12 feet, allowing 7 feet of table leaves to be fabricated.
