We are pleased to be offering today this matching pair of marble top demi lune walnut and burl walnut hand decorated chests that dates from the 1930s. They were made and sold by the Johnson Furniture Company out of Grand rapids, Michigan. This beautiful pair has burl picture frame molded panels on all three curved sections, a dove tail curved front trim decorated burl drawer with the logo on the inside, beautiful paint decorated designs (1 depicted cupids resting in front of a floral bouquet and the other is a vase with a floral design) and it is all finished off with cabriole carved legs and wonderful adorn bottom trim. It is a lovely amber color. The overall size is 34 inches wide, 16 inches deep and 34.5 inches high. The overall condition is fantastic. The black and gold quartz marble on the top. An early repair was done on one of the marbles, but it looks like a grain. One knob is missing on one of the curved drawer, but we will try to match one prior to shipping.
