We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful French carved burl walnut demi lune chest that dates from the 1930s era. A well made piece that has to be Berkey and Gay or one of the good quality construction companies. It has two curved wooden doors on the ends that open with a shelf interior and three dove tail drawers with burl walnut fronts. I know this is high quality as they have used tiger sawn wood for the inside of the drawers, which is one of the most expensive woods on the whole piece. The cool thing is that it has a secret hidden compartment on the left hand side that will release when you depress a well hidden button and you can open a swing out a hidden compartment to store all your goodies. We have refinished the top to reveal the gorgeous grains of the burl. Overall with the reeded columns, fancy carved molded edges, cast brass hardware it is simply a stunning and high end quality dresser. The overall size is 52 inches wide at the widest point, 24 inches deep and 36.5 inches high. The cool thing about this is that it would fit almost any palace you want. It stands on fluted dainty legs and is in outstanding condition with minor little nicks and dings. It will cost $345 to ship into our normal delivery zone.
