SOLD Pair of Mahogany Twin Size Pineapple Poster Beds
We are pleased to be offering today this pair of refinished pineapple post twin size beds in mahogany stain complete restored refinished condition right out of a home in Waterville, Maine. They are a nice looking pair of beds that come with metal side rails. The beds came in and the finish was a bit faded from sitting in front of the windows. Therefore we hand sanded, hand stained and applied multiple coats of satin sheen lacquer for years of carefree use. The overall outside dimensions are 42 inches wide, 44 inches high on the headboard post, 36 inches high to the headboard shield, 37 inches high on the footboard post and the multi-turn cross spindle is 25 inches high. The inside dimension for mattress purposes is 39 inches wide by 75 inches long. It will easily accommodate a modern day box spring and mattress. Someone has welding the flippers on the metal rails to add more sturdiness to them. You are getting the pair for one money.
