SOLD Pair of French Provincial Leather Top End Tables
We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful set of French provincial style cabriole leg leather top end tables that dates from the 1950s to1960s era. They are all solid wood with a shapely scalloped multiple bevel edge top that has a tan and gold embossed leather top that shows some crazing. Crazing is where over the years the lacquer on top wears away and then the leather gets worn, but there are no holes in the leather. The wood itself is probably pecan or a light to medium walnut brown. They have serpentine shapely dove tail drawers with plywood and solid wood construction on the inside. They have tall slender cabriole legs. The overall size is 24 inches square by 26.5 inches high. The drawers are large being 18.5 inches wide by 15.5 inches deep and 2.5 inches high. The drawer both have the original French provincial handles on the drawer front. You are getting both tables for one money. Shipping starts at $149 for the pair.
