We are pleased to be offering today this pair of blonde mahogany and satinwood marble top Victorian style nightstands that dates from the 1930’s and are most likely from a European country. They were purchased in Maine, but a lot of it was imported in the 1960’s and 1970’s. We probably imported 40 containers worth over the years. They have the brass trim on the feet and the top post, French Victorian brass handles, most unusual marble on the top with a wide bevel edge and they came with three drawers on one cabinet and a drawer on the other cabinet with an open compartment underneath. These are likely from Venezuela or Italy. The overall condition is original and good showing minor veneer chips here and there as the fanciest comes from veneer. The chips are common on the edges of the legs. The stands are 18 inches wide, 14 inches deep and 28.5 inches high. The drawers are hand cut dove tail, Bombay and serpentine. Other than the legs showing veneer chips that we will detail out they are in extra nice condition. You are getting the matching pair of stands for one money. Shipping is $145 for the pair within the continental USA.
