We are pleased to be offering toady this beautiful tiger sawn oak two door bookcase that came out of a local home. It is a great little piece that has three adjustable shelves on one side and four adjustable shelves on the other side. The bookcase is divided in the center so that when you open one door it provides one section. It is in the original finish, original hardware and is completely constructed out of tiger sawn oak. It has a lock, but we do not have a key. The overall size is 48 inches wide, 13 inches deep and 54 inches high to the dainty backsplash. When you open the door, the inside compartments are 23 inches wide and 12 inches deep on the shelves on each side. The interesting thing is that I am from Fairfield, Maine and this item was sold by a local furniture company as indicated in the back Lawry Brothers. They are now a funeral home, but they sold furniture back in the day. It has the original grand rapids furniture company label on the back saying that it was made in Michigan at the turn of the century.
