SOLD Oak Planters Bench / Flat Screen TV Stand Unusual
We are pleased to be offering today this solid oak from the 1890s unusual bench which appears to be for plants or some sort of a bookcase with what you would use as a flat screen tv stand. The overall size is 48 inches long, 14 inches deep and 26 inches high to the top shelf. There is also a storage tray that is 23 inches high from the floor. It could be used as a bookcase. The cross support is 10 inches high from the floor. The height on the bookcase section is approximately 13 inches high and the space right underneath the top is 2.25 inches high. It is very simplistic and nice construction. It joined together with mortise and tendon on each end. They have re-sprayed the top to remove the plant pot stains. It is a real nice piece. The base is 15 inches deep. It is a unique stand. I have never seen anything like it in my over 50 years in the business.
