We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful seven drawer extra large hat box area oak tall chest with a wonderful detail backsplash that dates from the 1900's. It has serpentine double drawers on both sides of the hat box serpentine door in the center. Underneath are three large flat front drawers. The hardware is original and all intact. The serpentine door has a much better than average bow tie leaf carving. It is all tiger sawn oak across the front. It has carved legs and a carved bottom skirt. The backsplash is amazing being 10.5 inches high and beautiful carved. The overall size of the dresser is 39 inches wide, 21 inches deep and 57 inches high to the top of the backsplash. It is a great looking chest. It has multi-panel sides. The back shows it is model 780 sold by the W. Brothers out of South Bethlem, PA as stamped. It has been refinished by the previous owner in a medium to dark oak stain approximately 25 years ago. It has normal nicks and dings. It is all dove tail drawer construction. The hat box door is 12 inches high and 12 wide to give you an idea for storage. Shipping starts at $345 for a driveway delivery in our normal area.
