SOLD Oak Carved Dessert Server / Hall Table

We are pleased to be offering today this heavily carved tiger sawn oak with the north wind or lion faces with barley twist posts server that dates from the 1890’s,  It has it all.  It is  a European decent oak server/dessert station.  It comes with a hand cut dove tail drawers, wonderful carved back and the fronts/skirts are all carved.  It is a very desirable European item in the American world.  The side moldings are missing on the bottom shelf that was most likely a plain molding.  It has triple shelves supported with thick barley twist posts, a hand cut dove tail drawer that is all carved in relief, floral corner blocks and a wonderful detail backsplash.  The European uses a thin solid oak shelf on all three of them.  The front had a space filler that is missing some of it and if you remind us at the time of the sale.  It isn’t really noticeable, but I am just being particular.  The overall size is 42 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 6 inches high to the bottom shelf, 21 inches high to the middle shelf, 42 inches high to the top, 8 inches high on the backsplash and 50 inches high overall.  A lot of people use these for tv stands, hall tables or in the dining room.  It is in a dark oak stain Shipping estimates starts at $245.00-$265.00 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
