We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful Victorian ogee bevel edge 45-degree corner marble top burl walnut commode or wash stand that dates from the 1880's in original condition. Originally this had a backsplash on the top. People removed them over the years and this one never was put back on. This one has a burl panel front on the double doors and hand cut dove tail drawer. It has the original keyhole escutcheon. Someone has replaced the hardware with three matching knobs. It has 45-degree angle corners on the base with carved tops, burl panels in the center and a nice footed base. It has panel sides.
The overall size is 29 inches wide, 17 inches deep and 30 inches high. The backsplash would add an additional $350 of value if it had it, but many people just add a wooden backsplash which looks quite nice.
