Pineapple poster bed that dates from the 1940s in great condition and much better quality than normal. This bed is of a high quality by a maker such as Paine even though it is not marked any place. The outside dimensions are 42 inches wide, 40 inches high on the footboard posts, 36 inches high on the shield on the footboard, 49.5 inches high on the headboard post and 45 inches high on the headboard shield. The inside dimensions are 39 inches by 76 inches long. It will easily accommodate modern day twin size mattress. It is a great looking bed of high quality as it is rare that they have such a big shield in the footboard. It has the slip in rails that are all mahogany. The bed reeks of quality and would make a statement in any bedroom. Shipping starts at $185 for a driveway delivery in our normal area which is New England.
