We are pleased to be offering today this mahogany demi lune game table with pinstripe inlaid on the legs, skirt and top! This table dates from the 1940s in original condition with minor nicks and dings. It is in nice original condition. The great thing about game tables is that you are getting three pieces of furniture in one. It is a demi lune stand that you can put against a wall to display flowers or a lamp. You can also flip up the top and use it as a back drop for a bust or vase. Finally, you can also use it by flipping the lid and spinning it around to make a poker table, kitchenette table or chess table. The overall size is 36 inches wide, 17.5 inches deep and 29.5 inches high. When you open the table up it becomes 36 inches circular. When you open it up it is all supported with the back leg that swings over to support the table top. This is a high quality table, but I don’t know who made it. It has an early repair on the top right hand side that you have to study to see. It has inlaid throughout the entire table with a checkerboard inlaid across the top and even on the inside is inlaid.
