We are pleased to be offering today this wonderful and stately solid mahogany ball and claw Chippendale arm chair of the grand design that dates from the 1880s era. It is all solid mahogany construction with a crush velour blue style fabric that appears to be good and usable. This solid carved dark reddish brown mahogany chair is outstanding. It is extra tall and would look great in a hall, office or in front of the fireplace. The overall condition is good. It has a cabriole leg with flare wings coming out on both tops of the elbow, carved knuckle arm that is scroll and shapely with supports. The unique thing about this chair is how tall it is. The back is 4 FEET tall! The overall size of the chair is 23 inches wide and 20 inches deep on the seat. The overall width across the arms is 31 inches wide and the height to the seat is 19 inches high. It is a great looking chair. Shipping starts at $285 due to the chair being oversize.
